York

It is amazing with a focused approach, how a short course of lessons can improve GCSE grades in Maths Science and Music. It's never too late to start and improve and improvements come quickly.

Learn to play the piano, keyboard, violin or guitar or improve your singing voice. I provide bespoke tuition that will enable you to quickly achieve your goals and realise your aspirations. I teach students of any age and you have the opportunity to sit for the examinations of The Associated Board of The Royal Schools of Music if you wish to do so.

Every student learns differently

Caroline adapts her teaching to the individual, finding the approach that helps each student understand, enjoy and feel more confident in their subject.

Individual support

Whether a student is struggling with a particular topic, has lost confidence or simply isn't being challenged enough at school, one-to-one tuition provides the space to ask questions, work at the right pace and focus on what they need most.

ADHD & Autism

Caroline has experience teaching students with ADHD and autistic students, adapting lessons to suit how they learn. This can include shorter instructions, practical tasks and building on small successes, with input from parents welcomed where helpful.

Small successes can lead to big changes

"You do not know the difference you have made. If he is unsure of something he can ask you and you explain it. We consider ourselves so lucky to have found you. He couldn't do Physics. He has just achieved 81% in the Mock GCSE exam."

"He has gone from hating Physics and really struggling to actually enjoying it. His teacher at school has noticed a huge difference."

"My daughter loves her piano lessons. She enjoys practising and cannot wait for Friday to come around for her lesson."
